Fall brings apples...

Apples are some of the most versatile fruit for desserts. You can poach, bake, Blanche, sear and caramelize, just to name a few things. Sometimes you need to go with classics, though.

I'm normally an apple pie girl, but my roommate doesn't like crust so I went with an Apple crisp!

In a cup, because everything is better in a cup. All you need is some vanilla ice cream. 

And let me tell you, my roommatewho  normally doesn't like cooked/mushy apple had NO PROBLEM gobbling this baby up! 

Don't forget the extra crumbs on top, that's everyone's favorite part :)

Strawberries and cream summertime treat!

Needed to throw something together for dessert... 4 layers of lemon yellow cake, 3 layers of sliced strawberries with whipped cream lightened vanilla pudding filling. A sprig of mint and blueberries to top it off! Delightful and refreshing.  A wonderful summertime treat! 

Pink lemonade cupcakes with a kick!

Pink lemonade cupcakes. But let the grown ups enjoy them just a little more with the pink lemonade vodka soaked strawberries on top. Delicious!

A light and fluffy pink lemonade white cake with zesty pink lemonade frosting, topped with a strawberry slice soaked overnight in pink lemonade vodka and a sprinkle of some 'country time pink lemonade' powder for some extra pink power!

Everyone loves chocolate chip cookies!

All you need is a nice tall glass of milk to dunk them in. Yummy!

Peanut butter and chocolate graduation cake

My cousin is graduating from high school and as a congrats present, along with a book, I wanted to make him cake!

This is a sour cream chocolate cake (very moist!). Peanut butter and chocolate meringue buttercream filling with peanut butter American buttercream frosting. Chocolate and peanut butter chips for decoration. Don't forget the basket weave on the side!

He asked specifically for basket weave!
