I went into the city, New York City, that is to meet up with a friend who by the way is AMAZING. We met up at Grand Central and headed downtown to hang out, I showed her where I will be attending school to perfect and learn new techniques. Then we had a late lunch/large snack. We were "Slunching"? At this awesome little place on 16th with good salads, sweet potato fries (my favorite!) and drinks. I had some "tennessee tea" and she had the "brazilian caipirinha" which I can't pronounce but tasted delicious. While there I thought that we would make the most of the situation and location and I could pick up my uniform for school! And boy did we ever. 2 hats, 5 aprons, 3 chefs jackets (with my name :), 2 pairs of pants AND a pair of hopefully super comfy shoes!
As soon as I got home, I had to try the whole outfit on. So excited!
